2023 Annual Conference of Gastroenterology Branch of Hubei Medical Association
In order to better promote the academic progress and improve the clinical treatment level of gastroenterology in Hubei province, the 2023 Academic Annual Conference held by the Gastroenterology Branch of Hubei Medical Association will be held in Rongtong Zhongnan Garden Hotel, Wuhan on March 3-5, 2023 as scheduled.
The conference focused on hot topics in the field of digestion (early cancer of digestive tract, functional gastrointestinal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, biliary pancreatic disease, liver disease, etc.), and divided into well-known expert forums, special reports, interpretation of clinical guidelines and discussion of difficult clinical cases. Professor Xiaohua Ho, Director of the Department of Gastroenterology, Union Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, was specially invited to deliver a lecture on the Clinical application of fecal caltroverin (V Rome international standard drafting expert for Functional Bowel Disease (IBS), Vice President of Gastroenterologist Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, leader of Gastrointestinal Functional Disease Assistance Group of Digestive Tract Branch of Chinese Medical Association, etc.).
In the speech, Professor Hou made a brief introduction on the clinical background and detection status of intestinal inflammatory diseases, focusing on the analysis and discussion of the clinical application value and development prospect of fecal caltrovotin in intestinal inflammatory diseases, emphasizing that in the field of digestive tract diagnosis, the application of fecal caltrovotin detection has a very important clinical significance for the screening of intestinal organic diseases. It calls for more clinicians to apply fecal calcaret detection in clinical diagnosis and treatment, and emphasizes the need to carry out more multi-center clinical studies to standardize the detection standard and detection threshold of fecal calcaret.
As the supporting unit of Orthobiology, the star product"calcaretin" will be displayed at the meeting site. At the same time, digestive tract series, inflammation series and instrument series of orthobiology series will be displayed one by one.
The teachers who attended the meeting gave high affirmation to Weizothein's products, saying that as the first manufacturer of fecal caltroverin detection project in China, Weizothein's current product line is becoming more and more rich, the quality is reliable, which provides a very strong basis for the diagnosis and treatment of clinicians.
Fecal calcaretin is a kind of inflammatory protein secreted by neutrophils in gastrointestinal tract. It is heat-resistant, anti-protease, stable, anti-bacterial and degradative. Clinically, it is associated with diarrheal diseases, including acute and chronic inflammatory bowel disease, IBS, colorectal cancer tumors, etc.
Fecal calvertin can provide an important reference for the clinical diagnosis of intestinal inflammation, simple diarrhea, colorectal cancer, D-IBS and other diseases. It can evaluate the disease activity in patients with IBD, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. It can help distinguish patients in active and remission stages, and help doctors to predict the recurrence of patients, timely adjust the treatment plan, and evaluate the therapeutic effect.
Fecal calcementin detection mainly includes semi-quantitative and quantitative methods, both of which are non-invasive, safe and highly acceptable to patients. Portable immunoassay analyzer WIZ-A101, continuous immunoassay analyzer WIZ-A202 and automatic immunoassay analyzer WIZ-A301 are provided for Positive biology, meeting the testing needs of primary, secondary and tertiary hospitals. Results can be interpreted in only 10-15mins, and short-term continuous detection can be performed to solve the problem of difficult short-term monitoring by colonoscopy. It is an ideal means of preliminary screening, treatment and recurrence detection of intestinal diseases.
