Diabetes Diagnosis Methods
1. Fasting blood sugar: Fasting blood sugar refers to the blood sugar value of the person to be tested at least 8 hours (usually 8-12 hours) after eating. The normal value of fasting blood sugar is 3.9-6.1mmol/L, and the blood sugar value is 6.1-7mmol, which means that it has begun to change from normal to diabetes, and appropriate lifestyle intervention is required. If left unchecked, it may lead to the formation of diabetes. At present, many blood glucose meters on the market can monitor blood sugar at any time, and they are mostly used in hospitals.
2. Postprandial blood glucose: Postprandial blood glucose indicates the ability of insulin secreted in the human body to convert excess glucose into glycogen. It is the blood glucose value after 2 hours of normal eating. When the postprandial blood glucose is greater than 7.8mmol/L, it indicates the activity or quantity of insulin. If it is insufficient, it can be diagnosed as diabetes, which is helpful for the early diagnosis of diabetes. Postprandial blood glucose is an important cause of chronic complications of diabetes and needs to be taken seriously.
3. Urine sugar: After the patient has fasted for more than 8 hours, collect the mid-morning urine of the patient, put the urine test paper in the urine, and use a urine analyzer to test it. The urine sugar index is (1+, 2+, 3+, 4+ ), + is positive and has the risk of diabetes.
Glycosylated hemoglobin: The patient started to fast from food and water at 10 p.m. On an empty stomach at 8 o'clock the next morning, 3ml of antecubital venous blood was collected with a vacuum anticoagulant blood collection tube.
