Early screening of gastric cancer into community public welfare activities
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2020, there were 479,000 new cases and 374,000 deaths of stomach cancer in China, accounting for 44.0% and 48.6% of new cases and deaths of stomach cancer worldwide, respectively. Such statistics are shocking! Since the early symptoms of stomach cancer are not obvious, most of the diagnosed case is in advanced stage, early screening has become an effective measure to improve the detection rate of early gastric cancer and significantly improve the survival rate of patients.
In order to further study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, actively promote the construction of healthy China, further improve the community residents' awareness of health, and do a good job in personal and family health management, Wiz Biotech came to Menghe Community, Beicheng New District, Hefei City, on February 21, carrying stomach cancer early screening products, to help the residents understand how to screen stomach cancer.
The volunteers earnestly popularized health knowledge, answered questions and provided reasonable suggestions based on the physical conditions.
