Today, we're thrilled to share some fantastic news that Wizbiotech has secured 27 MDA (Medical Device Authority) certifications in Malaysia by the end of September, marking a significant milestone in our journey to provide innovative point of care solutions to the Malaysian market.
Point-of-Care Test (POCT) is a clinical laboratory testing method that is conducted near the site where patient care is provided. It offers rapid turnaround of test results, which can lead to quicker implementation of appropriate treatment, potentially improving clinical outcomes and economic efficiency compared to traditional laboratory testing.
Wizbiotech has prepared some specific solution for primary care facilities, such as blood glucouse management (HbA1c, insulin and c-peptide test), colorectal cancer screening(calprotectin, transferrin and fobt test), Vitamin D screening (25-OHVD test) and gastric cancer screening (G17, PGI/PGII). All these solutions are based on the immunoasssay analyzer WIZ-A101 and our test kit.
