The advantage of a fecal immune occult blood test combined with a fecal immune transferrin test for diagnosis of gastrointestinal bleeding
Gastrointestinal bleeding, often caused by ulcers, tumors, or other abnormalities in the digestive tract, can be life-threatening if not diagnosed and treated promptly. A recent study has revealed the advantages of combining the fecal immunochemical transferrin test（FIT Tf）with the fecal immunochemical hemoglobin test (FIT Hb) for diagnosis of gastrointestinal bleeding.
